Welcome to Greenwich High School Athletics registration.

DO YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT?

Registering is different than creating an account

If you have or your child has registered on the website before.  - You will register as a Current Member (see below).

If you have registered a different child on the website before. - You will register as a Current Member (see below).

If no one in your family has ever registered on the website before. - You are a New Member and need to create a new account first (see below).

All players - NEW and RETURNING - must be registered on the website each season in order to play a sport.

(Coaches - if you're looking for your registration program, please click the For Coaches tab at the top of the website.  Contact the athletic office if you need the password.)

 

Why registration is required each season:

  • Parents/guardians must grant permission for participation, medical treatment, etc.  Permission does not carry over from one season to another.

  • Information for players, parents/guardians, emergency contacts, medical conditions must be accurate and current.

 

A note about privacy.

You determine who can see your personal information by setting the privacy level for each item.  

When entering your address and telephone numbers, etc. you may choose to set the privacy level to

"private" - no one other than administrators and coaches can view the information

"roster"  - this information will be visible to anyone on the team

 

NEW MEMBERS

If this is your first time registering on the GHS Athletics website, you are a New Member and will need to create an account.  You will be asked to provide a valid email address.  A link to create your password will be emailed to you.

  • STOP.  If you have registered on the GHS Athletics website in the past, even for a different student, you are a Current Member.  Even if you're not sure, skip to Current Member Instructions below.  Don't worry if you've forgotten your password.  You will be able to retrieve it with your email address.

  • For new members, Parent/Guardian information is entered first.  The participant (student) information is entered next.  You will have the opportunity to enter information for more than one student.

  • A student may register for ONE sport per season.  If you have any questions about this rule, please contact the coaches of the teams you wish to try out for.

You will need the following information available to complete your registration:

  • Emergency contact information

  • Physician and dentist name and contact information

  • Date of most current physical exam.

A student-athlete must file a Greenwich High School Athletic Physical Form with the GHS Health Office.  An athletic physical is good for 13 months and must be valid at the time of tryouts and throughout the season.  The GHS Health Office must stamp and sign a health verification card to certify a current athletic physical examination is on file.  No student-athlete will be permitted to tryout for or play on a team without a stamped verification card.

New Member Instructions
  1. Select your desired sport below and click the green Begin Registration button.

  2. Sign In.

    • Create an account by entering a valid email address on the right side of the sign-in page.  A link to create your personal password will be mailed to you.  Click the link in your email account and create your personal password.  Return to the sign-in page and enter your email address and password to begin.

    • Fill out all information on the parent/guardian page.  All information marked with an asterisk is required.  Check the box if you would like to add information for a second parent/guardian.  Click Submit to proceed.

  3. Fill out all information on the participant page.  All information marked with an asterisk is required.  When entering the student information, the student's GHS email address must be used.  Click Submit to proceed.  Freshman students who have not yet received their GHS email address may use a current email address temporarily.  Once the student receives the GHS email address, the student should edit his/her account using the "Edit/View My Account" feature at the bottom of the left column on the website's home page.

  4. On the next page, review all of your information and use the yellow Edit buttons to make any necessary changes.

  5. If you would like to register another student, click the white Back to Registration button at the bottom of the page.  Select the desired sport and click the green Begin Registration button.  When you reach the Family Page that shows the family members you've entered so far, click Add Child and proceed with the registration.

  6. You will receive a registration confirmation email when your registration is complete.

 

CURRENT MEMBERS

Current Member Instructions

  1. Select your desired sport below and click the green Begin Registration button.

  2. Sign In.

    • Enter your email address and password on the left side of the sign-in page.  If you don't remember your password or aren't sure if you're in the system, click "forgot" and if you're in the system you'll receive an email link to reset your password.  If you're not found, go back to the New Member Instructions above.

  3. Review the information on the parents/guardians by clicking on each name.  Edit if necessary.

  4. Click the Register button next to the name of the student you wish to register.  If you wish to register a new student, click Add Child and proceed with the registration.

  5. Fill out all information on the participant page.  All information marked with an asterisk is required.  When entering the student information, the student's GHS email address must be used.  Click Submit to proceed.

  6. On the next page, review all of your information and use the yellow Edit buttons to make any necessary changes.

  7. If you would like to register another student, click the white Back to Registration button at the bottom of the page.  Select the desired sport and click the green Begin Registration button.  When you reach the Family Page that shows the family members you've entered so far, click Add Child and proceed with the registration.

  8. You will receive a registration confirmation email when your registration is complete.

 

IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, YOU DID NOT COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
